Ceeze’s journey started in East LA, where he honed his craft in the gang scene. He perfected his skills by tattooing homeboys and acquaintances. After finding Christianity, he paused his tattooing career. Misguided advice made him believe he couldn’t tattoo as a Christian. Broke and praying for guidance, he eventually realized his calling. God inspired him to resume tattooing, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Now, Ceeze travels the world for tattoo conventions, avoiding those focused on reality TV stars. He prefers visiting Canada and South America, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures. His dedication to his craft and business-savvy approach set him apart. At Mi Familia Tattoo Studio, he works alongside his wife, thriving in the competitive SoCal tattoo scene.
Ceeze feels grateful for his time on Ink Master, which boosted his recognition. He appreciates the opportunity, despite the stress and isolation of the show. Surrounded by phenomenal black and gray artists, Ceeze counts many as close friends and family. Reflecting on his past, he thanks God for his blessings and success. With unwavering dedication, Big Ceeze continues to push the boundaries of tattoo artistry.
