Big Gus, a key member of the H2Ocean ProTeam, has a lifelong passion for art. His mother, an accomplished art teacher, influenced his love for teaching and creating. Growing up in Los Angeles, he immersed himself in the city’s vibrant art scene. The graffiti and murals of LA inspired his imagination from a young age. By the age of 9, he began experimenting with spray painting, and by 13, he explored the world of tattooing. These early experiences, though not professional, laid the foundation for his future career as a tattoo artist.
At 25, Big Gus reached a significant milestone when TATTOO MAGAZINE featured him for the first time, marking an early peak in his career. By 28, he had built a portfolio with numerous publications and international awards, highlighting his skill and creativity. His journey from a young graffiti artist to a renowned tattoo artist showcases his dedication and passion for his craft.
