Deano Cook, born in Atlanta, GA, is a marine life painter, photographer, and tattooist. He developed an early fascination with the sea during frequent childhood trips to Florida’s panhandle. As an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer, Deano captures the ocean’s beauty and uses his photos as references for his realistic paintings.
His artistic talent has earned him recognition and unique opportunities, such as assisting Wyland, America’s leading marine life artist, with painting two Whaling Walls. Wyland also enlisted Deano to tattoo his entire left arm with his artwork. Through these experiences, Deano’s passion for the sea deepened. He strives to make people see the underwater world through his eyes, sharing his love and respect for its incredible creatures.
