Gregory Piper, founder and owner of Exposed Temptations Tattoo, has been a prominent figure in the tattoo industry for nearly 30 years. He began his tattooing journey while serving in the Army, where he discovered his passion for the art. After being honorably discharged, Gregory pursued tattooing full-time and, in November 1994, opened his shop to create his own artistic environment and set a higher standard for the industry. His dedication to excellence led him to collaborate with the Governor of Virginia to help write the legislation that now regulates tattooing in the state.
Specializing in Japanese Traditional and Realism, Gregory’s work is a unique blend of cultural motifs and lifelike detail. His ability to harmonize these distinct styles has made him a standout artist, attracting clients who seek a fusion of tradition and contemporary artistry. Beyond the studio, Gregory is also a professional travel photographer, an avid scuba diver, and a devoted father of two daughters, embodying a life as dynamic and colorful as the tattoos he creates.
