Marek Pawlik, also known as Marzan, is a renowned tattoo artist born in 1978 in Silesia, Poland. From a young age, he was passionate about becoming a tattoo artist, despite the lack of resources and tutorials available at the time. He began his journey with home experiments and, in 1998, opened one of the first professional tattoo studios in his region, Sauron Tattoo Studio. His dedication to the craft led him to explore piercing and body modification, eventually becoming the exclusive distributor for The Wildcat Collection in Poland.
Since 2000, Pawlik has participated in international tattoo conventions, winning over 100 prizes for his exceptional work in color realism and other styles. He established Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery in midtown Manhattan, NY. By 2020, he expanded Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery to Los Angeles, California.
He constantly seeks to improve and innovate, traveling extensively to share his knowledge and experience with fellow professionals. His tattoo galleries continue to push the boundaries of tattoo art, viewing it not just as a professional, but as a way of life, filled with passion, fulfillment, and continuous discovery.
