Tony Olivas was a pioneering figure in the tattoo community, known for his exceptional black and grey tattoo work that left a lasting impact on the industry. Born in 1963, Tony began his tattoo journey at the young age of 15 and quickly developed a style that blended historical, mythical, and religious themes, making him a revered artist worldwide. His work not only gained recognition in the United States but also in Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and Panama.
Tony was the founder of Sacred Heart Tattoo, a well-known studio in Atlanta, Georgia’s Little Five Points district, and he played a crucial role in the tattoo scene by co-founding The Atlanta Tattoo Expo in 1996. His career was marked by numerous accolades, including over 100 world titles, and his contributions were celebrated in major tattoo publications globally.
Tony was one of the first H2Ocean Pro Team Members and one of the “Original Ones.” We at H2Ocean are deeply saddened to say we will miss him. He will always remain part of the H2Ocean Family, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.
