Yomico Moreno, born in Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, began his tattooing career in 2003. He moved to Valencia, Venezuela in 2005, starting as a professional tattoo artist in a studio. After three years, he worked in Switzerland, then returned to Caracas, Venezuela, where he gained national recognition by winning multiple local tattoo conventions. In 2010, his career took a significant leap when he won first prizes for “Best Color” and “Best Realism” at the International Tattoo Convention in Denmark.
Moreno’s journey continued with successful stints in Europe, Central America, and South America. In 2015, he joined the prestigious Last Rites Tattoo Theater in New York, invited by Paul Booth. This experience enriched his artistic approach and reinforced his passion for painting. By 2019, he opened his own private studio, Yomicoart Studio, in Brooklyn, NY.
