Zhang Po

Zhang Po, also known as Popo, is a renowned tattoo artist originally from Tianjin, China. He began drawing at a young age and studied oil painting before transitioning to body art. In 2003, he opened his first tattoo studio in Tianjin. Zhang Po specializes in photo-realistic and traditional Asian tattoo styles. He has traveled extensively for national and international competitions, earning numerous awards and serving as a judge in many events.

For the past few years, he has been tattooing in West Babylon, New York, at the World Famous Tattoo Art Gallery. He specializes in realistic portraits and traditional Asian designs, utilizing his extensive background in fine arts and oil painting to create intricate tattoos. Zhang Po has built a notable reputation in the tattoo industry, not only for his artistic skills but also for his use of Kuro Sumi inks, with which he has developed a signature grey wash set.
