Our History: Before Our Beginning
Back in 2000, Eddie Kolos, a founder and South Florida surfer, had a brilliant idea. Drawing on his expertise in marine biology and his connection to the ocean, he created the H2ocean brand. At the time, there was no other natural aftercare product on the market and body art was still very grassroots. Eddie realized that H2ocean’s vitamin and mineral-fortified sea salt spray could help piercings heal faster and more efficiently than home remedies like sea salt soaks. Ever since then, H2ocean has been a leading innovator in the body art industry, introducing products such as the first piercing spray, the first tattoo ointment, the first aftercare foam, the first foam soap, and the first lidocaine foam. H2Ocean will continue to strive to bring more revolutionary products to help the artists and their clients.

Behind the Bottle
Since its official launch in July 2001, H2ocean has revolutionized how people with tattoos and piercings care for their body art. As the largest developer of USP-grade, all-natural, sea salt-based products, H2ocean has over 15,000 retail locations in the United States alone. We use the most technologically advanced packaging to guarantee that our products are the safest and most effective on the market. Our products are distributed worldwide and registered in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Australia, and Europe. Our corporate office is located in Stuart, Florida. Our Pro Team
H2Ocean created the first industry pro team. It all began in 2003, when Steve Hayworth, Body Piercing Professional,  became the first Pro Team member. Then right H2Ocean’s Rhode Island Tattoo Convention the following year, they welcomed the original five ProTeam members: Jack Rudy, Tony Olivas, Bob Tyrrell, Jess Yen, and Deano Cook.
